We found something better than sliced bread; possibly, the world's lightest hiking stick. These are from China, and look like bamboo; however, they are not bamboo. It appears to be in the rattan family. These hiking sticks are 55 inches in length. We attempted to break one of these, but were unsuccessful with 300 lbs. of pressure. These hiking sticks weigh less that one pound, including a steel shank/point on the tip, under the rubber nonskid surface. Our price is only $8 each, 2/$15 or $200/48
